Save the Children is looking for a Business Analist (36 hours/week) for its Marketing & Fundraising department in Den Haag. The role maximizes the effectiveness of marketing efforts through data analysis and strategic insight, connecting marketing data with organizational goals to ensure every euro invested delivers maximum social value. Responsibilities include developing compelling, data-driven presentations and advice for board-level decision-making; advising on marketing budgets based on ROI, brand growth, and social impact; managing and further developing cost structures, forecasts, and KPI reporting including analysis of historical and market data; guiding data analysis projects, PowerBI market reporting, and scenario planning tools; and exploring innovative technologies including AI models for performance prediction and budget optimization, while acting as a bridge between teams (Finance, IT) and the international organization. Candidates should combine data expertise with a strong sense of organizational and social impact, be a natural connector with clear communication skills, and have experience with or interest in forecasting models and AI-based analyses. Requirements: academic working and thinking level, preferably with a Master's in economics, marketing, data science or comparable field; at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in fundraising, marketing, or consultancy; excellent command of Dutch and English; and eligibility to work in the Netherlands. The role is a fixed-term (one-year) contract with possibility of extension, salary scale 10 (€3,496.31–€5,535.40) following Dutch government pay scales, full public transport commuting reimbursement, 5 weeks annual leave, partial remote work, and a favorable pension scheme. Offers are subject to positive references and a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), as Save the Children participates in the Inter-Agency Misconduct Disclosure Scheme.
