NRC is seeking a dedicated, resilient professional for the role of Access and Security Advisor - INGO Forum for Venezuela, responsible for strengthening humanitarian access and security analysis capacities of the Security Working Group and INGO Forum partner organizations, to achieve meaningful, principled humanitarian access. Responsibilities include providing systematic analysis and reporting on humanitarian access for INGO Forum member organizations to inform decision-making; contributing to knowledge generation including evidence gathering, data collection and forward-looking analysis, and providing practical advice and technical support for humanitarian negotiations and security recommendations; supporting coordination through regular monitoring and updating of context, identifying potential risks and generating alerts on emerging situations; developing a context-specific analytical framework to guide data collection processes; and using various information-gathering methods including regular field visits, remote interaction with community members and key stakeholders, periodic remote monitoring via a network of key informants, and social media monitoring. Requirements: university degree, preferably in a relevant field; verbal and written proficiency in English (B2 level); 3 years of experience in humanitarian access and security analysis; experience developing data collection methodologies and analytical frameworks; experience in narrative monitoring and analysis; demonstrated knowledge of the Venezuelan and regional conflict context; resilience and ability to work under pressure; proven ability to engage with a wide range of public and private partners; experience working with minimal supervision while maintaining strong personal initiative; solid understanding of the humanitarian context of international NGOs (INGOs). Contract: 6-month national labor contract in Venezuela, renewable subject to budget and performance, Grade 8.
