The Nordic Cooperation on Return and Reintegration in Iraq (NORAQ) is a cooperation framework under which the Governments of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden partner with ICMPD and the Rwanga Foundation to implement projects that promote coordinated, sustainable, and transparent Government-led reintegration services and support professionalisation of migration governance systems and structures. Projects are implemented across the country, including in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI), where ICMPD partners with various ministries and institutions of the Kurdistan Regional Government.

The Team Assistant would be based out of the ICMPD Office in Erbil and would work closely with the KRI-based project implementation teams under NORAQ, supervised by the project manager(s) based on assigned project(s).

Organizational Unit: Silk Routes. Grade: LS1. Number of vacancies: 1. Duration of assignment: 12 months (SSA contract). Compensation: monthly gross salary of 2,078.00 EUR, plus health and accident insurance and six weeks' annual leave.

Languages: fluency in English and Sorani Kurdish is a mandatory requirement for the job; proficiency in Arabic is considered a strong asset.

Mobility: As and when needed (sometimes also on short notice), the Team Assistant is expected to be able to travel across the KRI and the rest of the country, as well as abroad. This is a requirement of the job and should be kept in consideration when applying.
