Location: Taipei, Taiwan
Contract: Contract for Services, Fixed Term from November 2026 to March 2027 (subject to funding). Working pattern: Full-time. Salary: gross 76,500 Taiwan dollars per month. Occasional travel to support activity implementation and oversee activities as directed may be required. Benefits include yearly performance-related pay, generous leave of 20 days, and 4 wellbeing days per year.
Role Overview: The Monitoring and Reporting Officer will support the planning and implementation of WFD's Supporting Democratic Resilience in Taiwan programme. They will provide support and guidance on monitoring, evaluation, learning (MEL) and reporting of programme-related work, overseeing the programmes' monitoring and evaluation system, including the internal and external quarterly and annual reporting cycles, ensuring adherence to stated deadlines and quality standards. In addition, they will liaise with programme delivery partners and stakeholders around key milestones and events, to support the widest possible reporting of activities and achievements. The Monitoring and Reporting Officer will work under the overall guidance of the WFD Director of Office Taiwan and in close cooperation with other Taiwan and UK-based colleagues.
About You: Technical understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks/processes and first-hand experience of supporting its implementation – minimum 2 years; experience of supporting teams develop capacity within an M&E role; experience working with or at an international development organisation; experience working with Taiwan civil society organisations; experience producing accurate briefing documents and reporting; excellent level of written and oral communication skills in English.
