UNESCO Sudan office is implementing the project 'Better Employability for Youth in Sudan through TVET,' supported by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), strengthening Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and improving youth employability. Port Sudan Technical School is one of the institutions supported. UNESCO Sudan office intends to recruit a full-time Consultant based at Port Sudan Technical School to support accurate financial recording/documentation of project activities and strengthen the school's accounting and financial-management system.

Objectives: develop capacities of Port Sudan Technical School managers in financial management; ensure financial transactions are properly recorded, documented, tracked, reported; ensure compliance with UNESCO, Federal and Red Sea State Ministries of Finance standards. Works under overall supervision of the Head of UNESCO Sudan Office and direct supervision of the Head of the Education Unit and Project Officer.
