The Finance Manager, based in Singapore, supports the CI Singapore office and Singapore Hub in complying with CI's finance and accounting controls, grants policies and procedures, and local reporting/governance conditions, ensuring sound donor and grant management practices. Manages financial reporting to provide timely information for decision-making, organizes and directs general accounting activities, and maintains accounting systems for financial management, budget monitoring, and donor financial reporting. Develops budgets and revenue forecasts, supports strategic plans, supports fundraising including cost proposals, and works with management/HQ to implement audit findings. Does not supervise staff; works independently on routine duties.
Responsibilities include: financial management and reporting (expense reports, cash flow requests, accounts payable, payroll review, transaction review); ensuring compliance with charity status and regulatory needs; reconciling bank accounts; recording grants/donations; preparing annual management accounts per Singapore financial standards; overseeing internal/external audits; budget management (annual budgeting process, project budgets).
