The Strategic Collaborations and Resource Mobilisation Coordinator will support Save the Children Türkiye to diversify and strengthen its funding base while developing strategic collaborations that contribute to greater and more sustainable impact for children in line with the Country Strategic Plan. The role responds to the Country Office's evolving resource mobilisation model, with a particular focus on building domestic corporate and institutional funding, strengthening strategic engagement with Save the Children Members, and developing new channels of support.
A core purpose of the role is to proactively identify, cultivate and manage relationships with Türkiye-based companies, corporate foundations, business networks, chambers of commerce, institutional stakeholders and other prospective supporters. The post holder will translate Save the Children Türkiye's programme priorities and impact into relevant funding and collaboration propositions, develop and maintain a qualified opportunity pipeline, and coordinate engagement from initial prospecting through to partnership development and follow-up. The role will also lead structured engagement with priority Save the Children Members, Global Program Funding and New Business Development Teams, ensuring regular communication on Türkiye's programme priorities, funding needs and emerging opportunities. Where funding opportunities progress to proposal stage, the post holder will coordinate or contribute to the development of concepts and proposals in collaboration with programme, technical, finance, awards and operational teams.
The role reports to the Director of Programme Development, Quality and Impact (PDQI) and works closely with the Country Director, SMT members, relevant programme and support functions, and partner organisations. In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will support resource mobilisation and partner engagement for the response.
Requirements include: demonstrated experience in resource mobilisation, strategic partnership development, business development or corporate engagement, preferably in the nonprofit, development, sustainability or social impact sectors; proven ability to identify, cultivate and maintain relationships with companies, foundations, institutional funders and senior decision-makers; strong understanding of the Türkiye corporate and institutional landscape; experience developing and managing an opportunity pipeline; strong networking, influencing and negotiation skills; experience contributing to concept notes and funding proposals; strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; and fluency in English and Turkish. Desirable: established networks with Türkiye-based companies and business associations; experience with corporate social impact, sponsorship or multi-year partnerships; familiarity with EU and bilateral funding mechanisms; CRM/donor management systems experience; understanding of child rights, sustainability or ESG principles.
The position holder will be based in Istanbul; legal right to work in Türkiye is necessary at the time of application. Contract type: Permanent, Full-time.
