The Fred Hollows Foundation is an international development organisation working to prevent blindness and restore sight, operating in more than 25 countries throughout Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the Pacific and Australia.

The Project Coordinator is accountable for workplan design and delivery of the project 'Bangladesh Insight: System Leadership Approach to Eye Health' (Sylhet), establishing/coordinating key partnerships and advocacy, based in Sylhet with frequent regional travel. Responsibilities: managing high-quality programs (implementation, monitoring, evaluation) in Sylhet division; engaging multifaceted partners across the community; representing FHF at district/divisional/sub-district meetings; coordinating field mobilisers; risk identification/reporting/mitigation; preparing high-quality reports for management and donors; managing project budgets.

Requirements: minimum 8 years progressive work experience ideally in the development sector, including 2+ years in a coordinator/management role; experience engaging with divisional/district government offices and donor organisations; wide-ranging knowledge of development trends and standards in Bangladesh including SDG and health policy; fluent in English and Bengali.
