Duty Station: The Hague, Netherlands. Type of Appointment: Fixed-Term Appointment. Minimum Net Annual Salary: EUR 55,790.00. A roster of suitable candidates may be established for this post for fixed-term appointments against both established posts and positions funded by general temporary assistance (GTA).

Organisational Context: The Prosecutorial Administration Services Division (PASD) within the Office of the Prosecutor centralises specialised support functions providing cross-cutting support to the Office, including planning and operations, witness protection and management, information knowledge and evidence management, forensic science, language and administrative support. The Financial and Confidential Operations Team (FCOT) manages the development of tools and protocols and the management of operational finances linked to investigative, logistical and witness management activities, and co-ordinates the Operational Risk Register and alignment of business continuity processes into operational planning.

Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent will serve in the Planning and Field Operations Unit, Planning and Operations Section (POS), supporting the Head of Team. Under direct supervision, the Assistant Planning and Control Officer will: conduct research, collect and collate management information in support of planning, reporting and implementation of activities within FCOT; support the Head of the Planning and Field Operations Unit in developing and updating POS and PASD policies and the OTP's strategic plan and policies through research, drafting proposals, gathering and consolidating information, systematizing data, generating statistics, and preparing reports, communications and presentations; assist in all POS and FCOT projects as a focal point for performance indicators and other intra and inter-Organ working groups and special projects; assist in implementing and updating the Sections' risk management system including record keeping, analysis and reporting; undertake research, evaluation and analysis on a range of subjects supporting quality improvement within POS; and perform other duties as required.

Essential Qualifications - Education: An advanced university degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field. A first-level university degree combined with two additional years of qualifying experience is accepted in lieu of the advanced degree. Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience (zero years with an advanced degree) in strategic planning, performance indicators, performance improvement, or change management. Skills: strong analytical and evaluative skills; ability to establish priorities and maintain productive partnerships; excellent communication, presentation and drafting skills; strong planning and organizational skills; strong command of standard office productivity software; ability to work under stress; ability to work in a multicultural environment; strict confidentiality; professional integrity. Languages: Proficiency in English or French is required; working knowledge of the other is highly desirable; knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish is an asset.
