Project: EU Strategic Communication in Viet Nam. The project aims to design, develop and implement a multiannual strategic communication campaign to enhance the visibility of EU-Vietnam cooperation and strengthen the EU's image as a trusted and strategic partner. The campaign will deliver coherent, high-impact communication around selected policy priorities, using innovative, audience-centred and digital-first approaches tailored to Vietnam's evolving media landscape.
Job description: The expert will lead campaign implementation, coordinate content production and stakeholder engagement, and ensure effective outreach to Vietnamese audiences, particularly young people, through impactful digital communication, storytelling and partnerships.
Requirements (all criteria are mandatory):
Qualifications and skills:
- At least a Master's degree in communication, marketing, media, digital communication, journalism, or directly related disciplines; or a university degree in the above disciplines plus an additional five (5) years of relevant professional experience;
- Fluency in both speaking and writing in Vietnamese (level C2) and English (level C1).
General professional experience: At least eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in managing communication campaigns; coordinating content production and campaign implementation; managing partnerships with media, influencers, agencies, production houses, or digital platforms; and supervising multidisciplinary creative or communication teams.
Specific professional experience: At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience in managing and implementing at least one digital and social media campaign targeting Vietnamese young audiences; coordinating production of at least one multimedia communication product, including audio-visual and digital content; proven experience working with influencers, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), artists, media outlets, or online communities in Vietnam; and proven experience in campaign implementation planning, media placement, audience engagement, and performance monitoring. Experience working on development cooperation, government, international organisation, or donor-funded communication projects will be considered an asset.
