Pooling funding allows Co-Impact to provide large, flexible grants and strategic support to locally-rooted partners in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. The Latin America and Global team is seeking parental leave cover for the Program and Administrative Assistant role from mid-November 2026 to end of April 2027 (5.5 months fixed-term, fully remote). Responsibilities: calendar management, complex scheduling across time zones, meeting logistics, agenda coordination, and travel arrangements including visas, accommodation and ground transportation; supporting annual strategic planning and project coordination by maintaining workplans, timelines, grantmaking records, and tracking priorities, deadlines and follow-up actions; supporting grantmaking and program partner management by maintaining partner records, monitoring reporting deadlines, and coordinating administrative aspects of grantmaking; drafting internal and external communications, preparing briefing materials, taking meeting notes and coordinating follow-up; supporting administrative financial processes including team expense reports, budget entries, and routing vendor contracts, invoices and payments; acting as the team's point-person for administrative tasks with other teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and at least three years of relevant experience; experience with civil society organizations and/or philanthropy, preferably with grantmaking platforms/systems; excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, project/database/contract and grants management software); excellent listening and communication skills with cultural sensitivity; high self-motivation and comfort working autonomously; fluency in English (required) plus Spanish or Portuguese (Portuguese preferred); strong attention to detail; professional and diplomatic manner and discretion with confidential material. Required skills include organization, sound analysis and judgment integrating gender analysis and evidence, collaboration, support to colleagues and senior leaders, basic financial understanding, process management and results orientation, interpersonal savvy, learning orientation, a strong moral compass, commitment to feminist core principles, and global flexibility across time zones with periodic international travel. The role is remote and flexible for candidates authorized to live and work in Mexico. Annual gross salary is USD 74,000 (pro-rated monthly for the contract duration, paid in MXN) plus a generous benefits package; salary and benefits are not negotiable. Co-Impact partners with Professional Employment Organizations (PEOs) to employ staff.
