As part of a social safety net project under a restricted commercial tender, DCA is recruiting an
Environmental and Social Safeguards Specialist to ensure the project's compliance with
environmental and social standards.
Job Summary:
The Specialist ensures the integration of environmental and social considerations into all phases of the project, as well as the training and awareness-raising of the stakeholders involved.
Job objective
Ensure compliance with environmental and social standards and the applicable contractual framework.
Desired profile:
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+4) in social or environmental sciences.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental and social safeguards management.
- Good knowledge of ESS standards and contractual requirements.
- Experience in community and social safety net projects.
- Proficiency in French and Sango.
