The State Institution "Projects Implementation Center Fundamentals of Digitalization in Tajikistan" of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan is implementing the Tajikistan Digital Foundations Project (P506611, Grant No. TF-C6744), co-financed by the World Bank and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. The project aims to expand access to and usage of selected digital public services and enhance digital skills of the population, through two components: strengthening foundations for safe digital government systems and services, and enhancing digital skills. To support implementation, the Project Implementation Center intends to hire a Devops Engineer Expert to ensure the reliable, secure, scalable, and efficient operation of the OJSC's server and DevOps infrastructure, embedding modern DevOps practices and leading an assessment-led modernisation of the supporting infrastructure. Qualifications: a Bachelor's degree (minimum) in IT, computer science, computer engineering or related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications such as CKA/CKAD, cloud or security an asset); minimum three years in DevOps engineering or systems administration (five+ years and senior-level experience desirable); proven operation of production environments at scale including high availability, backup/recovery and capacity management; strong Linux administration, Docker/containerization, CI/CD pipeline design, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring/logging/observability, networking, security principles, and cloud/virtualized infrastructure knowledge; ability to produce high-quality technical documentation; experience on donor-funded projects (World Bank, ADB, UNDP, EU) desirable; professional working Russian required, working English required, Tajik an asset.
