About the Role: We are seeking an impactful and creative professional to join our team as the Program Communication Lead. This role supports RHF's efforts to amplify the visibility and impact of its programs and initiatives through thoughtful communications strategies. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing and Brand, the Program Communication Lead plays a key role in developing compelling content, managing program-specific communications, and ensuring alignment with RHF's brand and values.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with program teams to understand objectives and craft tailored communications strategies; develop engaging content for web, newsletters, social media, email, print, and video; translate complex program information into accessible and inspiring narratives for diverse audiences; assist in planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns; coordinate timelines, deliverables, and approvals; contribute to RHF's digital presence by drafting and scheduling social media posts, updating web content, and monitoring engagement; track performance metrics and audience feedback to inform content optimization; ensure all program communications reflect RHF's brand identity, tone, and values; apply brand guidelines consistently; identify and develop stories that highlight RHF's impact, programs, and people.

Qualifications & Experience: A post-secondary degree or a combination of relevant training, education and experience; a minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field; demonstrated experience across strategy development, media relations, website management, content creation, and social media engagement; demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously; experience with and/or knowledge of Indigenous cultures within Canada an asset; experience working in or with the non-profit or charitable sector is considered an asset.

Core Competencies & Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, bilingualism in French and English an asset, knowledge of Indigenous languages an asset; proven ability to develop clear, audience-focused messaging; strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams as well as independently; ability to engage senior leaders and external partners across sectors; sound financial acumen including vendor negotiation and managing budgets, timelines, and reporting; proven ability to manage communications projects from concept to completion; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with digital communications tools.

Compensation & Benefits: Hiring range of $67,000 - $75,000 depending on experience and qualifications; day-one access to extended health and dental coverage; immediate enrollment in employer-matched Retirement Saving Program; Employee Assistance Program via TELUS Health; 15 vacation days per year accruing from day one, with an extra 5 days every 3 years up to a maximum of 30 days annually.
