The RLO supports the legal functions of the Registrar under the Rome Statute, Rules of Procedure and Evidence, Regulations of the Court and Registry, Financial Regulations and Rules, Staff Regulations and Rules and other legal instruments governing the ICC, and ensures the quality, uniformity and consistency of legal positions across the Registry and its Divisions. Candidates must demonstrate excellent research, analytical and drafting skills, adaptability to multicultural and multilingual working environments, strong teamwork skills and good computer skills (including Microsoft Office). Proficiency in one of the Court's working languages, French or English, is required; working knowledge of the other is desirable, and knowledge of another official language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) is an asset. The ICC seeks diversity and gender balance and encourages nationals of non-represented and under-represented countries to apply.
