Here’s where you come in:
As Senior WASH Manager, you will lead the strategic development, implementation, monitoring, and quality assurance of WASH programmes, ensuring alignment with organisational, government, and donor priorities.
You will strengthen programme effectiveness through data driven decision making, technical support, capacity building, innovation, resource mobilisation, and strategic partnerships. You will also represent World Vision in WASH networks and collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, donors, universities, and other partners to advance sustainable access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services.
Requirements include:
• Have a Master's degree in hydraulics, hydrogeology, civil engineering, sanitary engineering or related discipline
• Have at least 5 (five) to 10 (ten) years of work experience, in a WASH programme/project
• Have a strong commitment to World Vision's mission, vision and core values;
• Good communication skills in English (written and oral) and interpersonal skills;
• Have a very good ability to adapt in a rural environment and empathy towards children.
• Have a very good knowledge of the water, hygiene and sanitation laws, guidelines and programmes of the Government of Niger
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build personal relationships within a team.
• Have a good command of French and English
• Have strong skills in Microsoft Office, AI (Copilot, Claude, etc.) or similar database, email and Internet software.
