Mission:
Within the private fundraising department and under the supervision of the Business Intelligence, Research and Statistics Manager, you will manage the administration of the BI environment and participate in the development of tools to support fundraising activities. You will also provide occasional support in conducting studies and ad hoc or sector-specific marketing analyses.
Main responsibilities:
Under the supervision of your manager, you will participate in the administration and optimization of the BI environment:
• You administer the BI infrastructure tools in collaboration with the data engineer.
• You analyze the functional and technical requirements in order to translate them into relevant reports and dashboards.
• You ensure the optimal and consistent development of BI tools, by coordinating the interventions of service providers (acceptance testing, compliance with standards, production deployment).
• You are responsible for the quality, reliability, updating, and availability of the data.
• You will collaborate and interact regularly with the data team to align data modeling with business needs and optimize ingestion flows and processes.
• You automate and document the technical and functional procedures.
Under the supervision of your manager, you will assist in managing the data collection and data-driven culture activities:
• You produce and maintain reports and dashboards for the various services within the collection department to help operational staff manage their respective activities.
• You monitor, control and analyze collection results, in direct contact with operational teams to facilitate decision-making.
• You work closely with the collection teams to help them define their needs in terms of reporting or dashboards.
• You provide technical and functional support to users.
• You ensure the proper adoption of the tools, by leading training workshops to promote the adoption of the tools and develop a Self-Service BI culture.
• You promote best practices in data and maintain continuous monitoring of innovations in your field.
Desired profile
Formation:
• You have a background in BI, big data, statistics, applied mathematics, data-oriented computing, decision support (minimum Bac+5).
Experience:
• Professional experience in a similar position of at least 2 years preferred.
SKILLS:
• You have a good understanding of the issues related to Business Intelligence.
• You have knowledge of Azure, Fabric and Power BI.
• You have knowledge of SQL and Python.
Required qualities:
• You are rigorous, with strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• You know how to work in agile project mode and you enjoy working in a team.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and are a good listener.
• You are a good teacher.

LANGUAGES:
• French: fluent
• English: B1 minimum
Employment conditions
Status: Permanent full-time contract. Management position, based in Paris.
Salary and benefits: €47,800 gross annual salary paid over 13 months. 22 days of paid time off per year. Teleworking according to MSF's rules (2 days/week). 100% employer-paid health insurance. Meal vouchers worth €12 (60% covered by MSF). 50% reimbursement of public transport pass (weekly, monthly, or annual) or bicycle mileage allowance (€0.25 per km, capped at €450 per year).
