Smarter Good's People Partnership Team (PPT) is seeking a versatile and proactive HR Intern to support the diverse facets of people operations. The internship offers a comprehensive, immersive, and practical learning experience in the social impact sector, providing a deep understanding of how HR functions as a strategic partner in driving organizational mission.

Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Life Cycle Support: Assist in coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes, maintain internal handbooks, policy documents, and organizational charts, and support tracking of key employee milestones.
- Engagement and Internal Communications: Draft internal announcements and culture-related content, help organize team-building activities and 'Radical Candor' workshops, and gather and synthesize feedback from employee surveys.
- Research and Compliance: Conduct research on HR best practices, labor trends, and DEI benchmarks; ensure digital employee records adhere to data confidentiality standards.
- Administrative and Project Support: Maintain accurate data within HR databases and project management tools; participate in special PPT projects aimed at improving internal workflows.

Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to gather and synthesize HR trend data
- Skilled in Google Workspace; comfortable learning AI tools and HRIS platforms
- High integrity and ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion
- Openness to direct, honest feedback and professional growth
- Sharp attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
