The Sub-Grants Manager will oversee operations related to sub-granting for assigned fiscally sponsored projects under Finance & Business Services. This role manages the sub-grant proposal submission process, coordinates with internal teams and subgrantees, supports compliance and due diligence reviews, drafts grant agreements, and ensures timely execution of post-award tasks. The selected candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable managing sensitive information in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the Asana-based sub-grant proposal submission system for assigned projects, in coordination with the Grants & Governance Team.
- Communicate with subgrantees to secure the information and documentation needed to evaluate sub-grant requests.
- Conduct preliminary compliance reviews of submitted sub-grant requests.
- Oversee subgrantee due diligence, including review of narratives, budgets, Form 990s, audits, related documents, and media scans.
- Identify, flag, and triage compliance or due diligence issues with the Director, Operations & Compliance.
- Draft grant agreements and liaise with projects and subgrantees throughout the agreement process.
- Collaborate with team members on agreement execution and post-execution tasks.
- Supervise the Compliance Administrative Associate on work related to sub-grants.

Qualifications: At least five years of proven experience in a similar role. Experience working in compliance, contracting, finance, and/or leadership with affiliated 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong technical proficiency with Asana and Microsoft programs. Ability to handle confidential matters and sensitive situations with poise, tact, and diplomacy. Strong problem-solving skills.

Working at Global Impact: Employees local to Washington, D.C. work 1-2 days per week in the headquarters office. Otherwise, this role can be remote. Visa sponsorship is not available. Salary range $80,000-$90,000 depending on experience, plus 16 paid holidays and 25 paid days off, and a benefits plan including parental leave, medical, dental, short-term and long-term disability, and a 401K program.
