About This Role
This is a full-time position affiliated with ChildFund's International Office in Richmond, Virginia. Our Richmond-based team members follow a hybrid schedule, with two days per week in the office. We are open to remote candidates in other locations who meet all required qualifications. The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000.

The Specialist II, Corporate Partnerships supports the Corporate Partnerships Team and global colleagues to pursue high-potential revenue opportunities through corporate engagement. The Specialist conducts research and manages processes to ensure a coordinated and values-aligned approach to private sector engagement. The Specialist also supports the Senior Manager and Senior Director in strategic partnerships and directly manages a small portfolio of U.S.-based business partners.

Required Experience and Education
* Bachelor's degree required.
* At least five years of professional experience in fundraising, corporate social responsibility (CSR), philanthropy, and/or development, preferably in a nonprofit environment.
* Experience with vendor management strongly preferred.

Primary Responsibilities
Partnership Management (40%)
* Cultivate and manage a portfolio of businesses that support ChildFund through philanthropy, consumer engagement, child sponsorship or workforce engagement.
* Serve as relationship manager for business partnerships, communicating ChildFund's mission and strategies, co-designing creative engagements that drive resources to our work, and stewarding contributions through meetings and reports.
* Serve as relationship specialist for workplace giving platforms, including Benevity, YourCause, Global Impact and others, meeting with them as needed, ensuring annual certification, and keeping ChildFund's profile current.
* Create stewardship collateral for business partners, including employee matching gift and cause partners.
* Manage ChildFund's contract with matching gift vendor.
Strategic Partnership Support (25%)
* Support the Senior Director and Senior Manager in execution of strategic global corporate partnerships.
* Attend partner meetings and assist in follow-ups.
* Prepare partner pitch decks, proposals and reports.
Corporate Due Diligence Research and Global Coordination (25%)
* Manage corporate due diligence research requests.
* Conduct research, draft reports and deliver preliminary recommendations to Senior Director; log and track approvals and renewal needs.
* Research corporate prospects for mission fit to support new business development.
Administration Support and Other (10%)
* Support annual goal setting and planning.
* Liaise with Data & Analytics team to track team revenue and progress to other team goals.
* Keep up to date with industry best practices related to workplace giving, gift acknowledgment and stewardship – and update our procedures as necessary.
* Issue quarterly acknowledgments to individuals that submit matching gifts.
* Assist with special projects as needed.
* Remain alert and responsive to any safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the safeguarding policy and procedures, and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the Safeguarding Policy.
