Position Summary:
The Associate, Global Relationships & Resources reports directly to the Associate Vice President and contributes to the effectiveness of the Global Relationships & Resources (GRR) Department by coordinating and executing core operational processes that support revenue generation and donor engagement. The Associate proactively supports the identification, tracking, and advancement of major and planned gift prospects, including donor screening, portfolio coordination, and stewardship activities such as realized bequests.
This position will be based at Headquarters in Washington, DC and will operate in a hybrid work model, with in-office days each week on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage meetings, including scheduling, agendas, materials, and follow-up actions.
* Maintain tracking systems for deliverables, deadlines, and action items to support accountability across the team.
* Coordinate procurement processes, including documentation, approvals tracking, and vendor and stakeholder coordination.
* Support the Associate Vice President and senior departmental leaders in coordinating strategic priorities and donor engagement activities.
* Develop internal materials, including presentations, slide decks, reports, and briefing documents.
* Support and coordinate the donor engagement priorities of the President and key executive solicitors.
* Compile and synthesize inputs from across GRR to support internal reporting and communications.
* In collaboration with the Fundraising Operations and Major Gifts teams, assign prospects to Donor Advisors for qualification and cultivation.
* Support portfolio optimization by maintaining accurate tracking, identifying gaps and overlaps, and coordinating updates across portfolios.
* Track and process realized bequest gifts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
* Coordinate across Fundraising Operations, Finance, and the President's Office to obtain required documentation, approvals, and signatures.
* Track the status of bequest distributions and associated documentation to ensure proper recording within Corus' CRM and financial platforms.
* Support communication and coordination to ensure timely and effective acknowledgment and stewardship of realized bequests.
* Support the improvement of administrative systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, coordination, and information flow across GRR.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of professional and relevant administrative experience; or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
* Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing professional documents and presentations.
* High attention to detail with strong follow-through.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Experience working with a CRM, including data entry and reporting.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and maintain discretion when handling sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting fundraising, marketing, or sales functions within international development, nonprofit, or complex, matrixed organizations preferred.
