About the Chain of Hope

Chain of Hope is an international NGO founded in 1994. Its mission is to strengthen health systems to give everyone, and especially children, the same chances of survival and development.
We work in 25 countries using a comprehensive approach, centered on the child but also on mothers and disadvantaged communities.

* Prevention and screening from a very young age, particularly within the framework of school health programs.
* Care and surgery, in order to meet the most urgent needs of children and their mothers.
* Training and skills transfer to local teams through our international network of experts in all areas of surgery.
* Construction and equipping of hospital facilities adapted to local needs.
Within the Development and Communication Department and in support of the Digital Communication Officer, the intern's mission is to participate in developing the association's reputation on the digital front.

Main activities

Social networks :

* Participate in the management and moderation of La Chaîne de l'Espoir's social media.
* To be a driving force for the evolution of these social networks.
Content creation :

* Participate in the creation of various content (articles, videos, infographics, newsletters) related to the actions and projects of the NGO.
* Ensure the online publication and optimization of content for each platform.
Performance tracking :

* Monitor the performance of communication activities and the website.
* Make recommendations for improvement.
* Produce a monthly report.
Digital monitoring :

* Conducting industry and non-industry monitoring of digital trends and best practices in digital communication to propose innovative and effective ideas.
Collaboration with internal teams :

* Working closely with the teams.
* Participating in inter-association events.

PROFILE SOUGHT
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (BAC+3) from a specialized school or Master's degree (communication and marketing)

SKILLS & ABILITIES

* Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro) is a plus

* Mastery of social media

* Good writing skills in French and, if possible, in English.

* Interest in digital

* Creativity, rigor

* Sense of diplomacy

* Organized and meticulous

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Sense of listening and communication

* Versatility and good adaptability

* Team spirit

* Desktop publishing skills

* Adherence to the humanitarian principles and code of ethics of La Chaîne de l'Espoir.

Terms

* 6-month internship agreement

* Internship dates: September 2026

* Full-time internship, based at the association's headquarters at 56 rue des Morillons 75015 Paris

* Teleworking policy: up to 2 days per month after the first month

* Compensation: €4.50 / hour (according to the legal scale and based on 35 hours / week)

* Meal vouchers worth €12.10 covered at 60%

* 50% reimbursement of transport pass or sustainable mobility allowance (bike) of 45 euros/month
