Description
For our office in Lucerne and to strengthen our fundraising, we are looking for a motivated and independent personality as a person responsible for project partnerships (80%)
Your tasks
In this exciting position in our fundraising and communications team, you will cultivate institutional exchange with foundations, churches and public donors in Switzerland and in an international context. They create the link between our financial partners and our health programs in Africa.
In close cooperation with the programme department, you will write funding applications and be responsible for the timely preparation of high-quality accountability reports. They identify new partnerships, attract and support institutional donors and make an active contribution to the strategic development of SolidarMed's partner and financing portfolio.
In addition, you will take on tasks in the field of international grants in close coordination with the programme department, in particular:
• Identification and systematic monitoring of relevant international donors and funding instruments (e.g. multilateral and bilateral donors, international foundations) as well as establishment and maintenance of a strategic grant pipeline in line with the organisation's objectives.
• Coordinate and share responsibility for grant acquisition processes, including donor engagement, drafting of concept notes and project proposals, quality assurance, compliance reviews, and timely submission in accordance with donor requirements.
Requirements
Your profile
You are a committed, outgoing and success-oriented personality with a university education (or equivalent), ideally with additional training in fundraising (e.g. VMI, ZHAW). Based on your previous professional experience, you can demonstrate success in the acquisition and support of institutional investors.
You have excellent editorial skills, analytical thinking and negotiation skills and know how to convince funders to finance impact-oriented health projects. Ideally, you already have a network in the field of foundations and institutional donors. Experience in the field of international grants or the willingness to familiarize yourself with international donor logics and compliance requirements is an advantage.
Medical development cooperation and global health are important to you. We require stylistically confident German as well as very good English skills (French is an advantage) – both verbally and in writing. As a solution-oriented, cross-departmental team player, you work in a structured, forward-looking and independent manner, show initiative and a high level of quality awareness. In addition to Microsoft 365, you work securely with a CRM system and also appreciate new forms of virtual collaboration.
