Mission :
Under the supervision of the Emergency Response, Systems and Analysis Coordinator - Pool U, and based on the systems, procedures and tools developed by the Emergency Response Unit (ERRU), your mission will be to draft the first "Emergency Essentials" manual for Action Against Hunger employees and operational partners. You will support the ERRU in its monitoring, alert, and analysis work.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Writing the emergency manual entitled "Emergency Essentials"; Familiarizing yourself with the content, analyzing and synthesizing the information provided to organize the manual's structure according to the defined framework;
- Developing proposals for improving the framework where necessary;
- Writing the manual while respecting the Organization's graphic charter;
- Consulting a sample of future readers on prototypes to ensure an easily accessible manual;
- Creating diagrams, figures, and tables to be included;
- Testing the manual's readability with a defined sample;
- Adapting the manual into a PowerPoint presentation;
- Providing support for the ERRU's monitoring and alerts; Contributing to daily monitoring and tracking of alert indicators, as well as the classification of emergencies and their records (database), and the dissemination of information to all stakeholders (Action Against Hunger International, Headquarters, and Country Offices);
- Supporting the development of analyses by the ERRU office; Developing analyses contextual information, documentary research and synthesis of information required by the Emergency Department.
- Contribute to the development of documents relating to emergency systems (emergency standards and indicators, policies, procedures, processes, tools and guides)

Profile :
- You hold a Master's degree and have experience in Grants and/or Reporting within international NGOs.
- You possess strong analytical, writing, and summarization skills, which will be essential for successfully carrying out the responsibilities of this position. Knowledge of specific tools is not required, but beyond strong writing skills, formatting skills are necessary.
- You are able to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing), and to classify and archive data. Organized, you know how to manage priorities. Creative, you are proactive.
- Working in an international environment, you are fluent in English.
Employment conditions
- Status: Integrated Manager, Class 7 - 3-month fixed-term contract until 15/07/2026 - Full-time
- Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
- Salary: From 37K to 44K euros gross per year over 13 months depending on experience
