PROJECT BRIEF:
The initiative aims to enhance knowledge dissemination and communication strategies for trade and supply chain finance. It focuses on promoting sustainability, digital standards, anti-money laundering measures, gender inclusion, and development impact through strategic marketing, digital content, and event support.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a 12-month communications and marketing plan.
- Content Development: Create and distribute digital and print materials, including reports, press releases, and social media content.
- Event Marketing & Support: Design marketing collateral for global, regional, and country-level events, and coordinate logistics.
- Multimedia Production: Develop videos, animations, infographics, and podcasts for knowledge dissemination.
- Social Media & Engagement: Strengthen outreach strategies, with a focus on LinkedIn.
- Project Management & Reporting: Track and analyze campaign performance, prepare reports, and ensure timely content delivery.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The Marketing and Communications Director is expected to support the project by performing the following key activities:
- Develop and execute a strategic marketing and communications plan aligned with organizational objectives.
- Supervise all communication, branding, and marketing initiatives to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Manage social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, and create content strategies to boost engagement.
- Oversee the production of high-quality digital and print content, such as articles, press releases, and multimedia assets.
- Lead event marketing efforts at global, regional, and national levels, ensuring alignment with key goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, regional managers, and external partners to enhance messaging and outreach.
- Design performance metrics and dashboards to assess the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Training: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communications, business, economics, sciences or a related field.
Language: English
Experience:
- A minimum of ten years of experience in marketing, communications, editorial strategy, events, partnerships, and digital marketing.
- Proven ability in project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Expertise in overseeing social media campaigns, with a strong focus on LinkedIn.
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Extensive experience in trade and supply chain finance is highly desirable.
- Significant experience working in international environments, particularly within the Asia-Pacific region is preferred.
