PROJECT BRIEF
The initiative aims to enhance knowledge dissemination and communication strategies for trade and supply chain finance. It focuses on promoting sustainability, digital standards, anti-money laundering measures, gender inclusion, and development impact through strategic marketing, digital content, and event support.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a 12-month communications and marketing plan.
- Content Development: Create and distribute digital and print materials, including reports, press releases, and social media content.
- Event Marketing & Support: Design marketing collateral for global, regional, and country-level events, and coordinate logistics.
- Multimedia Production: Develop videos, animations, infographics, and podcasts for knowledge dissemination.
- Social Media & Engagement: Strengthen outreach strategies, with a focus on LinkedIn.
- Project Management & Reporting: Track and analyze campaign performance, prepare reports, and ensure timely content delivery.
Scope of Work
The Senior Editor is expected to support the project by performing the following key activities:
- Conduct research and interviews to develop high-quality articles, reports, and other written content.
- Write compelling narratives on TSCFP’s initiatives and their impact.
- Develop scripts for multimedia content, including podcasts and videos.
- Ensure editorial consistency and adherence to ADB’s style and branding guidelines.
- Coordinate with freelance writers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure timely content delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Training: Relevant degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism, design, project management, or related fields.
Language: English
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, business, economics, communications, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in editorial or research roles, preferably in the financial or development sector.
- Excellent written communication and editing skills.
- Experience in research-driven content creation.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Significant experience working in international environments, particularly within the Asia-Pacific region is preferred.
