Professional Experience:
Founder & Senior Consultant at ConsensusLab Environmental Consultancy. Professional in Ecology (Catholic University of Ecuador) with a Master's Degree in Eco-efficiency and Business Environmental Management (Instituto de Investigaciones Ecológicas de Málaga - Spain) and a specialization in Conflict Management from George Mason University (Washington, USA). Additionally, I have training in project planning and management, transformation of socio-environmental conflicts, facilitation, mediation and governance of natural resources. My work is related to the development of sustainable environmental projects since 2000. I have facilitated multisectoral dialogue and capacity building processes on issues related to watershed management, protected natural areas, territorial governance, peace and human security, climate change, infrastructure, green commodities and energy. I have extensive experience in development projects supported by multilateral agencies, international cooperation and non-governmental organizations, consolidating my experience and training on territorial governance, social risk management, stakeholder engagement, dialogue, strategic planning, conflict transformation and public policy with different stakeholders mainly in Latin American countries: Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Panama, Honduras, Mexico, Costa Rica and El Salvador; Spain, Malawi and Vietnam.
