Professional Experience:

o I am a humanitarian and development professional with diverse experience and expertise from different contexts. Working as programs operation manager with Islamic Relief Worldwide- Afghanistan provide me opportunity to learn the best practices and effective programs of the organization implemented in Afghanistan and other 21 countries. Working as international delegate with IFRC which the world largest humanitarian organization, I have learned the best practices and challenges of 38 countries of Asia Pacific in the areas of humanitarian response, health and nutrition, IDP, livelihood, WASH, migration and displacement and Shelter. I will be happy to replicate the lesson learnt of my 34 years of careers and diverse experience for the proposed position.
I have been involved in local capacity building since last 20 years as trainer, facilitator, coach, and Master trainer in the areas of public health, maternal health, migration and displacement, violence against children and women, humanitarian services, HR, M/E and Institutional capacity building. I have facilitated several trainings on the above-mentioned areas to different staff of organization both national and international. In addition, I have developed guidelines and tools for different areas of organization. Serving at the senior and top level of leadership, I was responsible to maintain close working relationship internally and with external stakeholders.
Out of 34 years of my careers, I worked for more than 20 years at the top and senior leadership position with different national and international organizations. Being as international delegate -emergency operation coordinator in IFRC Asia Pacific regional office, I was responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance for effective emergency operations in 8 countries of South Asia region. I have worked with different donors including UN, ECHO, EU, USAID, World bank, Asian Development Banks and others. I represented the organizations in national, regional and international forums and coordination meetings. I have good leadership skills with experience in management, supervision and capacity building of diverse teams.

A. Individual and Institutional Capacity building skills
I have been involved in local capacity building since last 20 years as trainer, facilitator, coach, and Master trainer in the areas of, Emergency health, mental health, counselling, emergency response, disaster risk reduction, first aid, CEA, PGI, PMER, proposal writing, advocacy, OD and resource mobilization. I will transfer these skills and best practices to build capacity of national society and other partners.
B. Best Practices and experiences of representations, multisector coordination, and resource mobilization:
Working for more than 15 years at senior and top leadership position, I was expected to represent the organization and the thematic areas at national, regional, and global meeting including humanitarian clusters, technical working group and taskforces. I have served stewardship role in different organization board and was responsible to ensure effective coordination and coordinate project and program implementation with wide range of stakeholders at national and regional levels. I will utilize the gained skills on effective coordination if selected for the proposed position.


C. Mobilization of resources, including coordination, cooperation, and collaboration with partners:
Grant and contract management including donor reporting were my main part of responsibilities since 1997 which enhance my understanding of donor requirement, reporting formats, importance compliance with grant contract terms and conditions. USAID, DFID, World Bank, Bills and Malinda Gates Foundation, JICA, BMZ, DANIDA, DFATD, UNODC, UNICEF, WHO, UNICEF and Asian Development Bank were main donors of our projects. I was extensive involved in development of the proposal and budget for humanitarian sectors such as ECHO, AHF, and others.
