Professional Experience:

I am currently working as a Tax Analyst in Ernst & Young. The Transfer Pricing sub service line of Tax Department in EY helps leading organizations to manage their transfer pricing obligations and achieve long-term tax and business objectives through an integrated series of transfer pricing solutions. Since tax regulations vary from country to country organizations need to abide by the OECD Guidelines to follow an uniform Tax regulations uled by Arm's Length Principle. The Transfer Pricing team helps organizations to follow the OECD Guidelines through their benchmarking process.

Education:

I am a postgraduate in Economics with specialisation in Development Studies.I completed my graduation from Calcutta University and Post Graduation from Symbiosis School of Economics.
During my last 5 years of association with Economics I have had the opportunity to be involved in the following projects:
• Published and authored a paper at Goeman Bind HTO titled ‘Demonetisation 2016-A Colossal Step in the history of India’s Economy’.
•Published and authored a paper at Goeman Bind HTO on the WTO, IPR and TRIPS Regime in India.
•Authored a paper at Goeman Bind HTO on the Banking Regulation Act, 2016 to curb out NPAs.
•Summer Internship :National Institute of Advance Studies, Indian Institute of Science ,Bangalore," Mapping of Chinese aid provision in and around India’s neighborhood and understanding China’s grand strategy behind it-" The study discusses about China’s growing influence in South Asia, South East Asia and Middle East owing to their One Belt One Road Policy and how India is reciprocating to China’s growing supremacy.

•Scottish Church College, University of Calcutta. Under Graduation Thesis: ‘Significance of Land Reforms in our country post food revolution’; it discusses the extent of success of redistribution of land in West Bengal post operation Barga and class inequity generated through the policy.

•Symbiosis School of Economics , Symbiosis International (Deemed University)

Post-Graduation Thesis: ‘A Study on Financial Inclusion in Rural India with focus on achievement of PMJDY in BIMARU States’;it makes a comprehensive ranking of 26 states of India using the UNDP Index. 7 parameters were chosen on the basis of which states had been ranked It also discusses the extent of success achieved by different states in the spectrum of Financial Inclusiveness and how PMJDY is being instrumental in making BIMARU states Financially more inclusive.

‘Impact of MSMEs in Employment and Output Generation in India’: The study discusses about the significance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises currently in India and how it is being instrumental in providing growth and employment in the economy.

Migration:An Urban Question of Kolkata caused by the Partition of India: The paper discusses how critical the aspect of migration as an Urban Question is in the context of the city of Kolkata and how migration to Kolkata has changed the morphology of the state forever.

‘A Study on GST – A Revolution in the taxation System of India’: The paper focused on the socioeconomic issues of implementing and reforming the taxation system in India that had been followed since independence.

•Economist of the Year: Symbiosis School of Economics, 2017: ‘Certificate of Excellence’ for exceptional performance in EOTY Conference.
•Awarded Second in Young Economist Students Meet, Jadavpur University for presenting a co-authoring a paper on ‘Globalization and how it is being synonymous to neo colonization with emphasis on Sub Saharan Africa.
