Professional Experience:

Throughout my professional experience, I have developed strong skills in project coordination, stakeholder communication, event management, administration and research. As a Project Intern at the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy, I supported the planning and execution of international policy events, managed stakeholder communications and website content, and prepared briefing materials and meeting summaries. I also gained experience supporting international programmes and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

During my internship at TourismusRegion Wetterau GmbH, I contributed to communications and website management, conducted research, supported promotional activities and represented the organisation at a three-day trade fair in Berlin. My experience as an Event Manager at Woodcote Media further strengthened my ability to support international conferences and stakeholder events in fast-paced environments.

Alongside my professional roles, I gained experience in programme administration and data analysis as a Student Mentor at Leiden University. I also developed strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills through my capstone project for the U.S. Mission to NATO, where I contributed to a client-focused report and coordinated contributions within a multicultural team. Across these experiences, I have learned to work reliably, adapt to changing priorities, communicate effectively with diverse audiences and approach tasks with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Education:

I completed a MSc in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University, specialising in Violence, Interventions and Policing. The programme developed my understanding of complex security challenges, crisis management, governance and policy-making, while strengthening my analytical and problem-solving abilities. Through qualitative and quantitative research, I learned to assess complex issues, evaluate evidence and translate findings into structured recommendations. The programme also strengthened my ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage research projects and communicate complex information clearly to different audiences. As part of my studies, I developed a research proposal examining workplace violence. Overall, my studies provided me with a strong interdisciplinary foundation and the ability to approach complex problems systematically, communicate effectively and develop evidence-based solutions.
