1. Successfully supported stakeholder and community engagement in the integration of Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition services
with Primary Health Care (PHC) within the context of the District Health System (DHS).
2. Cooperated with National and Provincial Governments in the vertical and horizontal integration of healthcare programmes and managed
change and transformation, policy development, implementation and accreditation programs with successful attainment of set standards,
policies and procedures.
3. Collaborated with two leading Universities in the adaptation and implementation of evidence-based solutions and health policies for better
health outcomes.
4. Supported Medical Undergraduate research projects and community-based education and training on nutrition. Reference is hereby made
to the current global call and consensus to integrate Nutrition Education into Medical Undergraduate training curricula.
5. Implemented the World Health Organisation (WHO) 10 steps for management of Severe Malnutrition and the UNICEF Baby Friendly
Hospital Initiative (BFHI) 10 steps for successful breast feeding.
6. Contributed to Child Health Development through healthcare provider clinical training on Integrated Management of Childhood Illness
(IMCI) as a Clinical Instructor.
7. Participated in the successful implementation of Management Sciences for Health (MSH) Equity Project in partnership with government
and academia to develop capacity building initiatives and health systems strengthening and policy integration frameworks.
8. Served in a District Health System as a District Hospital Manager and participated in the implementation of digital District Health
Management Information Systems (DHMIS) which form the foundation of National Health Systems. Supported role of modern technology
and evidence-based solutions in driving Quality Improvement, informed data driven decision making and better monitoring and
evaluation of services in the communities and populations served.
9. Annual delegate at World Health Expo (WHX) Conferences, formerly Africa Health, which connect participants, governments, entrepreneurs
and ideas on a global scale to explore cutting-edge healthcare solutions through exhibition of the latest products and services that are
