Professional Experience:
I have more than 20 years of combined work experience in the private sector, international cooperation, NGOs and multi-stakeholder organizations. I have contributed with the Agri commodities sector on their responsible journey transformation, by implementing certifications (organic, fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, RTRS, Bonsucro and VIVE), developing sustainable supply chains between farmers in Latin America and exports markets in USA and Europe, and more recently I have been working with 50 global brands on suppliers’ capability building on Human Rights and Due Diligence.
I am an Agricultural Engineer with emphasis on Natural Resources and Biological Conservation, I hold a MBA with emphasis on Sustainable Development, I have a specialization in Exports Management and completed three executive courses: Innovation and Creativity with Foundations on Neuroscience, Strategy for resilient organizations and Soft skills development. As a constant learner, I enrolled on a Master on International Relations at the Austral University in Argentina, to be finished in December 2024.
I know how to work with FMCG companies on ESG strategies and sustainable sourcing, I have implemented programs funded by SECO, GIZ, Moore Foundation, Porticus Foundation, Good Growth Plan Syngenta, Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, and European Commision FP7, to make sustainable business between farmers and buyers.
Having worked for global and networked organizations, improved my skills on remote/hybrid work, multicultural teamwork, communications, managing multi-stakeholders’ initiatives, coordinating working groups, strategic planning, and playing a role of convener between different sectors, such as farmers, private sector, governments and civil society.
Regarding language skills, Spanish is my native tongue; I am fluent in English, have good command of Portuguese. I have knowledge on SaaS such as SAP Business Warehouse, Salesforce, Valamis, Xero for financial reporting and Monday.com for customer management.
