Professional Experience:
I am a staunch entrepreneur, public health expert, access to finance expert, women & youth entrepreneurship specialist, gender enthusiast and programs manager with extensive years of experience built through managing myriads of inclusive businesses for women and youth focus firms and responsible for managing relationships with over 200,000 individuals in Ghana. I currently work as a gender consultant/ women and youth entrepreneurship specialist with USAID Feed the Future market system resilience. I successfully lead a gender advisor’s role with World University Services of Canada-GAC, in improving gender equality that advance the rights of women and girls, SMEs, MSMEs through climate smart businesses and giving grants to SMEs.
I currently work as a gender consultant/ women and youth entrepreneurship specialist with USAID Feed the Future market system resilience. I successfully lead a gender advisor’s role with World University Services of Canada, in improving gender equality that advance the rights of women and girls, SMEs, MSMEs through climate smart businesses.
I led several consultancies in health and gender, led USAID/RING VSLA project to inclusive business practice, and the gender programming unit at Catholic Relief Services Ghana which contributed to business development efforts that has seen to acquiring $5.2 million grant to manage the implementation of a Maternal and Child mortality and morbidity project for three years on the flagship “Rural Emergency Health Services and Transport for System Development (REST4D)” being implemented in 10 districts across Northern Ghana, providing technical advice on nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions, women empowerment programmes, maternal, child health, collaborating with partners and key stakeholders, implementation of multi-sectoral nutrition interventions, integrated supportive supervision, community engagement, behavior change communication, and supporting the capacity of communities to find long-term solutions and contribute to the broader policy dialogue on food and nutrition security for very effective and impactful implementation, which are the core pillars on which to run the strategies of an organization.

I also have facilitated numerous facility-based micro planning for Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) mop ups, Expanded Programs on Immunizations (EPIs), Routine Immunizations (RIs) , Supplementary Immunization Activities (SIAs) and disease surveillance, working in the hard terrains of Ghana and mobilizing women and children to support the above mentioned activities, in the municipality which helped in achieving head immunity by September 2015 with the following coverages; BCG (111%), PENTA3 (120%), OPV3 (102%), MR2 (110%) and Yellow Fever (105%). The effectiveness of my services contributed to the attainment of over 98% coverage rate in all NIDs and routine immunizations for communities within my catchment area.
I contributed to cure rate of malnourished children in the Community management of acute malnutrition (CMAM) programme decreased from 78% in 2015 to 70% in 2016. I initiated and monitored Severe the use of family heads and mobile phones to track pastoralist/nomadic/seasonal settlers for RI resulting in increased coverage (80%) and decreased defaulters (20%) for Pent3, Measles, OPV3 and TT2+ amongst these populations in Ghana and also designed data collection tools, trained data collectors, collected data, analyzed, wrote reports and disseminated findings to stakeholders and partners on EPI and ADSR at the very appropriate for a.

I have built deep experience in managing complex tasks and interdisciplinary teams for evaluation, interacting with host government officials, civil society partners, and other stakeholders for over a decade and will gladly transfer these skills as routines in your organization. I contributed to the development of data collection tools and ensured that they adequately collected data on critical gender issues related to sexual and gender-based violence and COVID 19.

Co- Consultant / Orbis International Africa/ Saha Consulting and Services Nov – Dec 2020: Evaluation of primary eye health project in Ashanti region. Project build the capacity of primary health care workers and teachers in primary eye to strengthen the project of eye health services to children.

Co consultant/ Ghana Somubi Dwumadie Programme/ Saha Consulting and Services (Oct – Dec 2020): worked with a team of consultants in the conduction of a formative study on stigma and discrimination against persons with disability and mental health problems in Ghana. I specifically advised on the gender dimensions of the work.

Supervisor/USAID Resiliency in Northern Ghana (RING)/Global Communities/Saha Consulting and Services (Jun - Aug 2019): Supervised data collection teams to conducted household interviews in Tolon and Kumbungu district as part of the end line beneficiary-based survey (EBBS) for the USAID RING project in Northern region.
