Professional Experience:
I have over 14 years of progressive experience in the design and implementation of MEL systems with NGOs, governments, key public health partners and funding agencies including World Vision, RTI International, Living Goods, USAID, Gavi, CIFF, WHO, UNFPA, and FCDO. I am currently working as a MEL consultant at Gavi, where I facilitate the production, interpretation, and use of evidence to inform and improve Gavi's policies and programs.
I am deeply experienced in designing and implementation of learning agendas as well as development of theories of change, indicators and results frameworks. I am very passionate about the use of robust MEL systems to enable data-driven decision making, learning, and accountability at all levels. I have built and supported MEL teams across multiple countries and contexts to effectively deliver their mandates.
I am also proficient in evaluation and research design and implementation including Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs), quasi experiments, surveys and qualitative research projects. I also have significant experience with budget management, communication, as well as various MEL tools and methods. I also enjoy working with innovative MEL approaches such as Outcome harvesting, Most Significant Change (MSC) stories, and participatory learning approaches. Altogether, I have successfully led over 30 research and evaluation projects and published some of my work.
