Professional Experience:

As a public health expert, my key strengths are in blending evidence-based public health strategies with practical capacity building and aim for measurable health outcomes. I have led government and donor-funded programmes across India in other countries - from community interventions to designing innovative training for health professionals - including developing a proprietary LMS that has trained thousands nationally. I led development of India’s first citizen e-health card for NCD surveillance in Himachal Pradesh in 2017, enrolling over 3 million adults by 2020. I have recently completed a statewide competency mapping exercise for public healthcare cadres in Meghalaya as part of a World Bank funded project. As the Director of RICPHI, I did launch a statewide, competency-based training program for public sector providers in Meghalaya and also secured over USD 4 million in grants for the entire Ramaiah group. My research has contributed to national policy reforms, including enabling AYUSH practitioners as skilled birth attendants in primary health centres and influencing compensation policies for victims of silicosis in India. At PSI India, I led a cervical cancer screen and treat initiative, later scaled statewide in Uttar Pradesh. Certified in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Agile, and Kaizen, I practice data-driven and sustainable solution development, institutional capacity building, and mentoring future public health leaders.
