Professional Experience:
Twenty years experience working in international development. Throughout my career, I have raised over $4 million for projects around the world and have worked in Haiti, South Sudan, Ghana, Guatemala, Kenya, Morocco, India and Chile.

I’m a proactive person who is creative, innovative and excellent at problem-solving..

My core strengths include, but are not limited to the following:

Extensive experience working with various donors. I have successfully cultivated relationships with UNICEF, UN CVR, the Levi Strauss Foundation, the Global Catalyst Foundation, the International Education and Resources Network, Vodafone, Roche Pharmaceuticals, GAVI, the Canadian government, JICA and KOICA, the World Diabetes Foundation, amongst others.

Experience developing and implementing realistic, effective and efficient projects. Most recently I managed Activating Systems in Emergencies, a multi-million dollar project of the University of Notre Dame, funded by the LEGO Foundation. This involved coordinating communication with partners CRS, the CEEC and the BDE as well as overseeing all aspects of the project including teacher training, delivering school supplies, implementation of a distance learning component, parent training and implementation of nine community projects.

Examples of projects I have developed include the following:
Non Signifi Non (No Means No), an adaptation of No Means No Worldwide. This project involved providing training to 175 women and adolescent girls in empowerment self-defense techniques. The project was launched in response to an increase in GBV.

Construction of a facility to accommodate medically fragile children and their parents. Healthcare services are extremely limited in Haiti, forcing families to travel to the capital to access medical care. This project involved the construction of a basic facility to accommodate these families in a safe area of the capital. The project was successfully completed and hundreds of children have had access to life-changing surgery.

Emergency Program for Immunization in Juba South Sudan. I developed this project, secured funding from UNICEF and oversaw all aspects of project implementation and over 40,000 vaccines were provided to women and children in two IDP camps.

Managing Diabetes in Santiago Atitlan. This project was launched in response to an increase in diabetes rates. I wrote the project, secured funding from the World Diabetes Foundation, oversaw all aspects of the project, secured partnerships with Roche Pharmaceuticals and the CDC, managed training of healthcare workers.

Excellent ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences. I have extensive experience delivering training and presentations and representing my organization at local, national and international events. For example, I have represented organizations at UN meetings, BOND, the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations, the International Education and Resources Network conference (South Africa) and the World Bank Development Marketplace Finals in Washington.

Strong communication skills in English, French, Spanish, Haitian Creole. Experience working in all languages.
I am looking for a challenging position with substantial responsibility.
