Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement-affected populations. DRC has operated in Ukraine since 2014 and employs over 800 staff there, delivering emergency response in Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding. DRC is looking for an Information Management Specialist in Kyiv.
About the job: The Information Management team develops information management systems on the ESRI ArcGIS Online platform, with a planned migration to ArcGIS Enterprise. The team works with Survey123, Field Maps, Dashboards and Experience Builder. The successful candidate will contribute to the development, configuration and enhancement of components of these systems, and support their integration and maintenance.
Main duties and responsibilities (in close collaboration with DRC Ukraine Programme departments, under the supervision of the IM Manager and the MEAL Manager):
- Assess and analyse operational workflows and information management processes across DRC Ukraine Programme departments.
- Lead the development, maintenance, troubleshooting and debugging of DRC Ukraine IM systems, with a particular focus on the Esri-based system.
- Configure and maintain CSV-based classificators in Esri systems.
- Provide DRC Ukraine Programme colleagues and DRC partners with tailored training, technical support and coaching on the IM systems.
- Support the provision of beneficiary lists and relevant data for monitoring activities, including Post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM) and evaluation reports.
Requirements: minimum 3 years of experience with IM system and database design, development, deployment and management. Advanced proficiency in ESRI and ArcGIS, including ArcGIS Dashboard and Experience Builder (key requirement). Advanced SQL. Experience developing reports, dashboards and data visualizations. Advanced English.
Desirable: university degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field; programming skills (Python, Typoscript); Kobo, FME, ActivityInfo; knowledge of data analysis methodologies (cleaning, validation, transformation, interpretation); knowledge of the IMSMA system and data reporting into it.
We offer: 3-month probationary period, with the possibility of extending the contract until 31 July 2027, depending on performance and funding. Band G non-manager. Duty station: Kyiv. Start date: November 2026. National contract, with salary starting from EUR 2,574 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
