The Marketing Writer creates compelling, donor-centered content that advances HOPE International's mission across integrated marketing campaigns and development efforts. The role covers both strategic storytelling and careful execution of high-volume, short-form content, including event invitations, emails, and print and digital assets, requiring strong attention to detail and consistent proofreading. Working cross-functionally, the writer delivers clear, engaging copy that strengthens HOPE's brand voice and inspires generosity in support of breaking generational poverty through the Gospel.

Responsibilities:
- Develop donor-centered content that advances marketing and fundraising priorities across print, digital, and video.
- Translate complex programs, impact data, and theological concepts into clear, compelling narratives for specific audiences and channels.
- Contribute to integrated campaigns with copy for email, web, social, video scripts, print collateral, and other marketing assets.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice aligned with HOPE's mission.
- Use AI as a creative thought partner to produce high-quality content efficiently.
- Produce high-volume, short-form content such as event invitations, emails, social media captions, landing page content, and video captions.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proofread and edit meticulously for accuracy, clarity, tone, and brand consistency.
- Collaborate with marketing, development, and cross-functional partners; improve content processes, templates, and style standards.
- Process, organize, catalog, and tag written, visual, and video assets to maintain up-to-date content libraries.
Qualifications:
- Personal confession of Christian faith and commitment to HOPE International's mission and vision.
- 3+ years of professional experience in copywriting, communications, or marketing, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
- Excellent written communication skills across audiences, formats, and media.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proven proofreading and editing ability for high-volume content.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple projects, deadlines, and revisions.
- Ability to produce both strategic storytelling and short-form tactical content.
- Demonstrated experience using AI as a creative thought partner.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, development, and creative partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills and openness to feedback; self-directed and dependable.
