New Roots Institute is a growing nonprofit dedicated to ending factory farming by empowering the next generation of advocates through fellowship programs that train students to lead real-world campaigns creating structural and behavioral change. The organisation seeks a Campaign Specialist to coach and support fellows in designing and launching advocacy campaigns aligned with the mission to end factory farming, monitor campaign progress and help fellows adapt strategies, build relationships with external campaign advisors from partner organizations, deliver campaign workshops and coaching sessions, facilitate group and 1:1 coaching on advocacy strategy and organizing, maintain campaign documentation for reporting, and work cross-functionally with staff on strategy and curriculum. Required: experience as a trained coach or mentor helping emerging leaders build skills; strategic thinking ability; skill facilitating virtual groups; proven track record leading advocacy, organizing, or volunteer management initiatives; excellent communication and relationship-building skills; collaborative, systems-oriented approach. Candidates must share vegan and anti-speciesist values and commit to attending annual in-person team meetings and leadership summits. This is a full-time, remote position with a salary of $71,000/year plus health, dental, vision insurance and unlimited PTO (US-based figures; adjusted for Canada/Mexico candidates).
