You'll help people navigate complex systems, access their rights, and rebuild their lives. You'll play a key role in shaping and improving services that truly matter.
What will a day in the life of a Casework Coordinator involve?
- Providing advocacy on welfare, housing, health and asylum support.
- Coordinating destitution and practical support services.
- Supporting and managing volunteers to contribute to the delivery of high-quality casework services, as this area of work develops.
- Building relationships with external partners to ensure holistic support for service users.
To be a successful Casework Coordinator, what will you need?
- Experience delivering casework to vulnerable clients, ideally within refugee or asylum contexts.
- Strong communication skills, including working with interpreters and diverse communities.
- The ability to manage volunteers and work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of asylum seekers' rights and entitlements, and how to advocate effectively.
