One Acre Fund, founded in 2006, equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers across nine African countries with high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and other agricultural services. The organisation is seeking Strategic Partnerships Senior Associates / Managers to join its 10-person grant management team within the Business Development department, stewarding some of its highest-value donor partnerships. These roles lead the coordination and monitoring of grant-funded activities, reporting to leaders within the Global Business Development team while coordinating closely with relevant program leaders. Emphasis areas include conservation agriculture, engaging women and youth farmers, and smallholder insurance. Responsibilities: drive thematic partnerships in the field through project management and coordination, collaborative problem solving, and program fluency (spending dedicated time with farmers and staff); own, manage and support key donor relationships through donor engagement (main point of contact for funder communications), storytelling and reporting (narrative and financial updates), and grant administration (data tracking, invoices, grant operations). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in International Development, Public Policy, Business, Economics or related field; 5-10 years of professional experience in international development, strategic partnerships, grant management, consulting, or project management; experience managing external stakeholders preferred; strong writing/communication and negotiation skills; comfort with data and Google Sheets; fluency in English required. Contract duration 2 years, renewable. Candidates with citizenship or permanent residency in Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, or Burundi are strongly preferred.
