Where You Fit: The Manager, Funder Experience plays a central role in shaping how Co-Impact engages with its philanthropic partners across every stage of the funder journey. This role is responsible for designing and managing a thoughtful, coordinated, high-quality engagement experience that strengthens relationships with current and prospective funders. Reporting to the Vice President, Philanthropy & Communications, the Manager leads the planning and execution of funder communications, events, program visits, and engagement strategies. This position does not manage a fundraising portfolio; it serves as strategic coordinator and project lead for funder engagement activities.
Key responsibilities: Funder Engagement Strategy (30%) - develop and manage the annual funder engagement strategy and integrated calendar. Funder Communications (25%) - lead planning, coordination and production of regular funder communications including the monthly funder newsletter. Events, Convenings & Program Visits (25%) - lead planning and execution of virtual and in-person funder events, roundtables, and program visits. Cross-functional Project Management (15%) - serve as central coordinator for cross-functional funder engagement initiatives. Measurement & Continuous Improvement (5%) - track participation and engagement metrics.
Qualifications: 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in philanthropy, strategic partnerships, donor engagement, communications, project management or a related field, alongside a bachelor's degree; demonstrated experience managing multi-stakeholder projects; exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency a must); experience planning high-profile events; experience with CRM and project management tools (Salesforce an asset).
