This role would suit a proactive and people-focused cybersecurity professional with a passion for threat monitoring, user engagement, and operational security.

Purpose of the role: Working closely alongside our Cybersecurity Engineer, you will protect the organisation's daily operations through proactive threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and security awareness engagement, ensuring employees become an active line of defense.

Key accountabilities:
- Monitor, triage, investigate, and contain daily security alerts from EDR, SIEM, and email security platforms.
- Coordinate rapid response activities for low-to-mid tier threats and incidents.
- Manage and scale the organisation's Security Awareness and Phishing Simulation programme.
- Curate targeted awareness content and micro-learning based on departmental risk profiles.
- Execute phishing simulations and analyse user risk metrics.
- Conduct monthly vulnerability assessments and support patch remediation activities.
- Serve as operational recorder and process validator during disaster recovery exercises.
- Maintain continuity documentation and update operational playbooks.
- Act as a key point of contact for employees regarding cybersecurity awareness and best practice.
