Job purpose:
This position is responsible to support the efficient management of workshop operations of BRAC by ensuring high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services, optimizing productivity, supervising technical staff, and maintaining customer satisfaction through effective technical leadership and operational coordination.

Key responsibilities:
• Supervise daily workshop operations, ensuring efficient job allocation, workflow management, and optimal utilization of resources.
• Provide advanced technical diagnosis and troubleshooting support for conventional, hybrid, and electric vehicles, while guiding technicians on complex repairs.
• Ensure high-quality vehicle repairs by implementing quality control and quality assurance procedures before vehicle delivery.
• Monitor workshop productivity, improve same-day service delivery, and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and technical assessments, prepare diagnostic reports, and provide accurate repair cost estimates to customers.
• Minimize repeat repairs by identifying root causes, ensuring repair accuracy, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and submit daily operational and performance reports to the Workshop Manager, including service progress, productivity, and key operational indicators.
• Supervise and evaluate workshop staff performance while coordinating with the Store and Procurement departments to ensure timely availability and procurement of quality spare parts and workshop materials.

Safeguarding responsibilities:
• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
• Sound knowledge on repair & maintenance of different model vehicles.
• Sound knowledge on problem diagnosis and quality control of vehicles.
• Sound knowledge on all kinds of spare parts and lubricants used for automobiles of different brand and models.
• Proper decision-making skill, communication and negotiation skills, problem solving skill.
• Mechanic and driver management skills.
• Computer literacy, different types of software operation skills for corporate office
• Team work
• Dealing with complex environment ability to solve them
• Self-accountable for making decisions, managing Human resources
• Working to high pressure and tight deadlines while at the same time.

Educational Requirements:
Diploma from any recognized institution (Preferably in Mechanical/Automobile/ Power Technology Engineering.)

Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in automotive repair, maintenance and workshop operation.
