DW Akademie intends to engage a Lead Thematic Trainer (m/f/d) with experience in media viability, business resilience and sustainability for media organizations.

DW Akademie, together with Omni Ethiopia and in coordination with IMS, is implementing the African Media Integrity and Resilience Program (AMIRP) in Ethiopia. The program is funded by the European Union and aims to support the resilience and integrity of public interest media through a structured Fellowship. Through the AMIRP Media Fellowship, selected media houses across TV, radio, print, and digital platforms will benefit from a structured capacity-building program combining training, practical application, use of relevant tools and tailored consultancy support.

Timeline & place of assignment
* Starting date: September 2026
* Duration: September 2026 until May 2028 (20 months)
* Working days: Approximately 18-24 full working days (8 hours each) spread across the fellowship duration
* Place of assignment: Ethiopia (Addis Ababa) and remote delivery as required
* Delivery format: In-person workshops, online sessions, hybrid masterclasses, ToT sessions, follow-up clinics, and coordination meetings
