Here’s where you come in:
As Regional Leader, East Asia (EAS), you will direct World Vision's regional operations across eight countries—Cambodia, China, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, North Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam—by ensuring effective leadership and management of the ministry in alignment with World Vision's Vision, Mission, Core Values, and global strategic priorities. You will provide strategic oversight across all areas of operations, including strategy execution, people leadership, financial stewardship, risk management, governance, and partnership engagement, while driving the overall performance and effectiveness of the Regional Office and the eight country offices. You will represent, position, strengthen, and safeguard World Vision's ministry across the region, both within the World Vision Partnership and with external stakeholders. In addition, you will provide governance oversight and engagement with the governing boards of World Vision Thailand and World Vision China, as well as the Advisory Council of World Vision Myanmar.
Requirements include:
- A minimum of ten (10) years' experience providing strategic leadership as a senior organizational leader within the humanitarian, international development, or related sector, with demonstrated success leading complex organizations or multi-country portfolios.
- Senior leadership experience in Asia is required.
- A minimum of five years’ (5) experience managing a multi-cultural leadership team is required.
- A minimum of five years’ (5) experience working with an Advisory Council or Board, either as a member, reporting to one or developing and advising an Advisory Council or Board is required.
- Minimum educational qualification of a master’s degree in a relevant field.
Location: Bangkok, Thailand, or any East Asian countries (Cambodia, Laos, Hong Kong, South Korea, Mongolia, Myanmar, Vietnam) where World Vision is registered to operate.
