About Etijah Foundation
Etijah Foundation is a specialized institution in the field of youth development; by providing them with skills and building their capacities, as well as contributing to building the capacities of governmental and non-governmental organizations that serve youth.
Etijah Foundation was established in Cairo in 2006 to serve Egyptian youth at multiple levels using local resources. Our role is to provide youth with capabilities that enable them to participate effectively and provide practical tools and models to bring about community change.

General Program Background
The Population Clubs project is a decentralized point for spreading awareness about reproductive health among youth. The project works through a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and support from the United Nations Population Fund to work on and develop a number of population clubs within youth centers in various governorates in Egypt.

In addition, each population club works to raise awareness about key societal issues such as: population issues such as gender-based violence, female genital mutilation and early marriage. Population clubs also provide a space for planning and implementing initiatives that address the problems facing the community using different tools such as music and theater, using specialized trainers. The project has succeeded in working through more than 241 population clubs in 27 governorates.

Main Job Responsibilities:
The Field Coordinator position is a part-time position until December and depends on implementing field tasks within the governorate and continuous and periodic follow-up with target youth groups in coordination with the project's central management and according to the monthly work plan, and his tasks are summarized as follows:

* Coordinating and implementing all different project activities.
* Developing a plan to implement activities within the governorate with the project coordinator monitoring the governorate.
* Following up on data collection, entering it and documenting all project activities in the governorate.
* Coordinating all activities required by the institution in the field and monitoring the achievement of required project objectives.
* Responsible for activity logistics and assisting trainers in providing the necessary materials to implement project activities.
* Coordinating with partner government agencies to provide the technical support required to implement project activities.
* Communicating, building relationships and networking with government agencies, civil society institutions and community leaders within the scope of work.
* Working to motivate community members and relevant parties to solve project problems.
* Familiarity with financial procedures and purchases for project activities.
* Preparing monthly and periodic follow-up reports and submitting them to the project coordinator.
* Any other detailed tasks that fall within the scope of work and job description.

Qualifications and Requirements Required in the Field Coordinator
* Bachelor's degree in one of the human sciences: sociology, social work or similar.
* Full-time availability and residence within one of the governorates where the project is being implemented throughout the period of implementing activities.
* Communication and interaction skills with youth groups.
* Time management skills
* Proficiency in English language
* Ability to organize training activities, introductory meetings and workshops
* Ability to write reports and implement financial settlements
* Good knowledge in the field of using computer programs especially (WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint).
* Previous experience in the field of non-governmental organizations (volunteer experience is considered).
* Previous experience in organizing trainings and events and dealing with the target youth and girls (volunteer experience is considered).
* Ability to represent the institution and establish partnerships with different sectors within the governorate.
* Ability to travel to attend meetings and events in Cairo or one of the other governorates where the project is being implemented.
