Sun Community Health ("SCH") is a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organization. It is a local nongovernmental organization in Myanmar and is established in particular to advance socially beneficial purposes in Myanmar by promoting and providing information, services and products related to the prevention, promotion, curation and rehabilitation of the major health services including but not limited to HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, maternal and child health, reproductive health and non-communicable diseases with the aim of furthering good health, prosperity and the relief of poverty, distress and sickness. This also includes stateof-art training programs, quality assurance programs, and a robust supply chain and logistics system and health financing mechanisms. The Organization may also provide non-health related ancillary services that ensure and improve the well-being of its clientele.

OVERVIEW:
The Community Mobilizer (CM) plays a vital role in delivering and coordinating communitybased health services under Sun Community Health's health programs, such as tuberculosis (TB), malaria, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and other essential services. The CM works directly with Community Health Service Providers (CHSPs) such as Volunteers, Auxiliary Midwives (AMWs), Integrated Community Malaria Volunteers (ICMVs), and private outlets, facilitating community engagement, awareness-raising, service referrals, and data reporting. The CM is supervised by the Community Coordinator and serves as a key link between the community and Sun Community Health's broader programmatic and operational framework.
SCOPE OF WORK:
* Community Engagement and Mobilization: Raise awareness and educate communities on relevant project related health topics such as TB, malaria, or SRHR using culturally appropriate methods.
* Work closely with SCH's Community Health Services Providers (Volunteers, AMWs, ICMVs, and private outlets) to ensure consistent service delivery and uptake at the community level
* Distribute relevant health materials, supplies, and commodities as guided by the Community Coordinator.
* Identify and support clients with symptoms or risk factors for TB, malaria, and other ICMV related conditions.
* Facilitate referrals and follow-up with public or private health facilities as appropriate.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using the Monthly Client Record (MCR) form and other tools.
* Submit complete reports on time to the Community Coordinator and provide clarification or updates when needed.
* Ensure proper storage, use, and tracking of SCH-distributed health commodities (e.g., RDTs, condoms, IEC materials) by the affiliated providers.
* Participate in regular supervisory visits and review meetings with the Community Coordinator.
* Actively seek and apply feedback to improve outreach and engagement strategies.
* Attend initial and refresher trainings, team meetings, and workshops as organized by SCH.
* Build and maintain respectful relationships with community leaders and health authorities to support implementation and advocacy.
* Adhere to all SCH guidelines on confidentiality, safety, ethics, and community interaction.
Term of Agreement:
The Contractor will receive the basic daily service payment upon submission of a complete Daily Work Report to the respective Supervisor and payment will be made within 30 days after SCH receives and accepts the report. In addition, the Contractor may be eligible for a performance-based payment, which will be determined based on the verification of achievements against the Monthly or Quarterly Performance Indicator Report and the appraisal and approval of the respective Supervisor.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant community experience may substitute formal education.
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in community-based health or development programs.
* Good communication skills in local language(s); basic literacy in Myanmar language is required. Knowledge of other regional dialects is an added advantage.
* Familiarity with local context, health beliefs, and customs in the assigned area.
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
* Commitment to community empowerment and human-rights-based health approaches.
