The Geneva Graduate Institute, founded in 1927, is a world-renowned centre of excellence for the study of international relations and development. It offers masters and doctoral programmes, and conducts cutting-edge research on major global challenges.

Key responsibilities

Drive applied research partnerships
* Develop, manage and sustain strong relationships with external ARP partners.
* Coordinate calls for project proposals and oversee the selection and alignment of projects with programme objectives.
* Support partners throughout the full project lifecycle, from onboarding to delivery of final outputs.
* Ensure clear, regular and effective communication between partners, Faculty Leads and student teams.

Coordinate academic delivery of the projects
* Act as the central coordination point for ARP Faculty Leads.
* Support the onboarding, orientation and ongoing engagement of Faculty Leads.
* Ensure alignment between the ARP and the programme's academic objectives, in close collaboration with the ARP course instructor.
* Oversee the coordination of assessments and reviews, supporting Faculty Leads to ensure that the evaluation of student group work is consistent with the programme's learning objectives and required academic standards.

Support and guide students
* Coordinate the project allocation process in accordance with student preferences and academic requirements.
* Provide continuous guidance and serve as a key point of contact for students throughout the project phase.
* Ensure that interactions between Faculty Leads and students meet expected academic and supervisory standards, and follow up as needed.
* Intervene where issues arise during the ARP process and coordinate appropriate solutions in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.

Ensure visibility and institutional coherence
* Oversee the collection, dissemination and communications of final ARP outputs, contributing to the ARP catalogue and institutional repository.
* Contribute to recruitment activities and promotion of the programme.
* Provide regular updates and analytical input on partnerships and ARP activities.
* Establish and maintain a quality assurance system for ARPs to ensure academic coherence, consistency of supervision and assessment, and compliance with programme level standards.

To be successful in this role, you should have
* A Master's degree in a relevant field, with significant professional experience in a higher education environment and/or in an international or interdisciplinary context.
* Demonstrated experience in coordinating complex, multi stakeholder projects and supporting small groups. Prior experience working with students and academic staff (Faculty Leads, instructors, supervisors) is a strong asset.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage productively with a diverse range of actors, including external partners, faculty, students and internal services.
* Proven ability to anticipate, manage and resolve tensions or conflicts that may arise in collaborative academic or applied research settings, with tact, discretion and sound judgment.
* A proactive mindset combined with excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and a strong sense of diplomacy.
* High level of organisational ability, including the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and to perform effectively under time pressure and across academic cycles.
* Excellent communication skills and a professional, solution oriented approach, enabling constructive dialogue and trust based relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
