Description
To assist the team in its mission, we are looking for two interns in animation and project management in the field of environmental education.
Job description
2 interns in animation and project management - environmental education at 80%
Internship 1 from August 17, 2026 to February 12, 2027
Internship 2 from August 17, 2026 to February 12, 2027
Tasks:
Common block for both courses:
Assistance in carrying out the activities of the Animation Department
• Participation in the organization and realization of animations, field trips for schools
• Participation in the organization and realization of public events (some activities sometimes take place on weekends)
Participation in the management of the Eco-Schools program
• Participation in the development of content and updating of the educational resources of the Eco-Schools program on sustainable food
• Participation in school labels (evaluation of applications)
Specific tasks of Stage 1:
Participation in the realization of the activities of the Animation Department
• Participation in the development, organization and implementation of educational projects, mainly with primary school classes, particularly on biodiversity
Specific tasks of Stage 2:
Participation in the management and development of the Eco-Schools program
• Assistance in updating the Eco-Schools program and school support tools
• Assistance in the organization of school labels (contact with the Jury and its recruitment, preparation of the Jury's reports, etc.)
• Participation in the day-to-day management of the Eco-Schools program, including monitoring of participating schools (trainings, CRM program, data entry and updating)
• Assistance in the organization and realization of meetings between schools participating in Eco-Schools and/or members of the Jury
Required Profiles:
• Be in training in one of the following university courses or HES: environment, sustainability, geography, geosciences, biology, earth sciences, social sciences, or qualification deemed equivalent
• Be enrolled at the university or HES for the duration of the internship**
• Genuine interest in issues related to sustainability (education)
• Professional experience with children an asset (camps, replacements, animations, etc.)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office computer tools
• Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written (German: an asset)
• Sense of autonomy and teamwork
• Strong organizational and writing skills
• Taking the initiative
** According to the legislative and regulatory provisions of the Canton of Geneva, the person must have an intra-course internship agreement entitling the person to credits.
